Thank you Paul for the interesting background on the American Nazis and the stealing by its leader: nothing really changes does it? I wonder whether the people flinging these epithets like “fascist” at DJT even know what exactly the term means? (The short descriptor “Everything within the state, nothing outside the state” is helpful as shorthand- I may have this somewhat incorrect- please correct.)
Typical that he worked the crowd for his own purposes as opposed to actually being a believer even if he was a believer if there were no standards there would at least be a double standard.
In the '70s in St Paul Hubert Humphrey spoke at St Thomas for a event and Nazis had gathered outside and as an 8-year-old I thought WTF, halfway through my dad a junkyard Jew and some of his friends got up and returned a little scuffled but smirking.
He said the Nazis had spit on an old Jew who showed them his tattoo in response to the sign saying it never happened
The St Paul police when the Nazis complained to them said you asked for it and you look prepared why are you asking for help from us to defend you from Jews?
Righteous memories and excellent article.
George Lincoln Rockwell was a decade or so later? He talked about expulsions, but that he didn't want to expel all Jews but they had to comply with Christian American law yet to be defined.
Simcha's Sessions did a terrific episode on the founding of America and the Jews. Haym Solomon financed the American revolution and never got paid back along with the revolutionary soldiers who marched on Washington to get repaid and I think they got attacked and killed for that effort and Mr Solomon died penniless and unpaid.
Fantastic, as always. Excellent insight on the JFK Assassination situation with the promise to release classified documents by Trump. Everyday people do not understand about the amount of Kennedy-family money that went to the Chicago "Outfit" ( Sam Giancana, et al.) that may have resulted in the Outfit putting Kennedy into the White House. Instead of appreciation, JFK made RFK the Attorney General who then unleashed the Government against Organized Crime that J. Edgar Hoover said did not exist. As Ben "Bugsy" Siegal found out, "You can steal from the Mob but don't expect to live forever!"
There were pictures held by the mob of Hoover and his boyfriend dressed up that were revealed to Hoover and held by the mob as counterweight to investigating the mob by the FBI. I think I've seen it multiple places but Roy Cohn talks about it. Would be curious to hear current djt talk about him and his recollections of NYC politics
Hoover loved racetracks and he had a close relationship with at least one of his subordinates. It could have been a number of things. Hoover kept a good agency from being even better. I worked with some really good guys in the Bureau but none of them ever told me that really wanted to work in FBI Headquarters.
If you get a chance, you might find my current post on the evolving US-Mexico relationship interesting. We have an excellent opportunity if Trump wins. If I was Donald, I might recommend RFK, Jr. to be the next US Ambassador to Mexico. I would love to attend a dinner party with the Trumps and the New Mexican President and her husband, a bank risk management expert.

Sounds like Joe Colombo & his Italian American Civil Liberty League

I always heard that Frank Costello had something on Hoover and that’s why Hoover denied they existed. Gambling debts or something.
