Just read your beautiful dissertation of 911. I will never forget and thank you for your ongoing service. I cry every 9/11 just remembering all of the tragedy and realizing it still goes on-our workers are dying from the effects of this every day, God bless you all. God bless America and I pray every day that God will save the country he inspired.

As I read this I had one of "those many moments... when I find it difficult to speak." Another moving piece my brother. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you Paul for this descriptive and straightforward recollection of those first days. Heartrending still as we reflect on all that was lost and now consider in what peril our civilization lies today.

Wow! What a stunning and apt read for today. Thank you for sharing your experience so eloquently. The tragedy of the property station resonated particularly with me. I always find the heaps of personal effects (glasses, keys, shoes, toys) tearjerkers at sites like concentration camp memorials or the Oklahoma City bombing museum.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts and reactions about 9\11. It not only was touching but also grisly. You brought the horror of that day to the forefront. It broke my heart to read how things transpired. An inspiration and something that every American should read.

Paul, I so hope you put all your pocket notes in a book. This is so important to share. I am so thankful you posted this. My prayers and thanks for all you and others did to help. And my prayers for all the innocent who lost their lives then and to their loved ones. And my prayers for all those who have lost their lives, health, or livelihood in the aftermath & for their loved ones. Sincerely, Alice
