I agree, the Secret Service dropped the ball. I hear anther excuse is The lack of Secret Service manpower is due to the assignment of personnel sent to the RNC Convention. Stop ๐Ÿ›‘

FULL STUP ๐Ÿ›‘. In my mindโ€™s eye, the US Marshals Service can b utilized for such eventโ€™s rather than using them to work the likes of the Hunter Biden detail as fill-ins. USMS are Federal. I would love to have had an opportunity to work with them when I was a young Cop.

We used to work with secret service all the time on credit card cases. Great to work with. Never had a bad experience with them. Just hard to manage their protection. details with case work.

While the Buck Knife Company did start in 1902, I wonder how much 'wild west poker' was going on by then... still I love your writing, and agree totally on your thesis - the USSS had the con, and they blew it.

Yeah. Knifes were commonly made with deer horn hilts hence the โ€œbuckโ€.
